Armia (lower-body) will not play on Tuesday; expected to return on Thursday.

Armia will miss his eighth straight game with a lower-body injury, but is expected to play on Thursday. With Marko Dano playing, don't expect Armia to re-claimg his spot in the Jets’ top-6. He has four goals and four assists (eight points) in 34 games this season.

Kuemper starts Thursday vs. the Oilers.

Kuemper stopped all 18 shots that he faced after replacing Devan Dubnyk in the Wild’s loss to the Blues on Sunday. With Dubnyk out with an illness, Kuemper will start tonight vs. the Oilers. Kuemper won his first start vs. the Oilers and has gone 3-2-2 with a 2.28 GAA and .917 SV% on home ice this season.

Kopitar left Thursday’s game with a lower-body and did not return.

Kopitar left the game after playing just 5:12 TOI but there is no indication how he suffered the injury. Kopitar has nine points (4G / 5A) in eight games since the All-Star break and has been on a tear since the middle of December, so this would be a huge loss at both ends of the ice. Expect an update on Kopitar’s status heading into the weekend.

Kuemper leads the Wild onto the ice for warmups.

Kuemper allowed three goals on 18 shots in the Wild’s loss to Boston last Saturday. Devan Dubnyk started last night, so Kuemper will get the nod tonight in Edmonton. Kuemper has not recorded a win since January 21st and comes in with a 2-1-3 record, 2.11 GAA and .928 SV% on the road.

Panarin (illness) will be a game-time decision on Tuesday.

Panarin missed the Blackhawks’ morning skate because of an illness and he is listed as a game-time decision. Monitor his status during pre-game warmups, which get underway at 8:00 p.m ET. If Panarin can’t play, look for Teuvo Teravainen to move into the top-6 and for Jiri Sekac to get into the lineup.
