The Penguins added Evan Rodrigues to the COVID-19 protocol list on Sunday (Dec.26).
Rodrigues was the only Penguins' player added to the protocol list on Sunday but five more joined him on Monday and it was also announced that Jason Zucker will be out week-to-week with a lower-body injury. As of now, the Penguins are scheduled to play on Thursday.
The Canadiens added Jeff Petry to the COVID-19 protocol list on Monday.
The Canadiens' COVID-19 list grew to nine players, one day ahead of Tuesday's game in Tampa. With Petry out, look for Kale Clague to play a much larger role and for Corey Schueneman to make his NHL debut.
