The 30-year-old veteran netminder is a name to watch as the trade deadline comes around on Friday but will look to improve his overall stock and build on his 13-20-2 record, 3.15 GAA and .898 SV%.
After a rough two-month stretch, Talbot has seemingly re-emerged as the go-to guy between the pipes for the Kings and will likely start for the third straight game. Talbot has won four of his last five starts, allowing fewer than two goals four times and posting a stellar .955 SV%. The Kings enter action with even -105 odds at home in a divisional matchup against the Vancouver Canucks.
Larkin has been excellent for the Red Wings this season but will miss approximately two weeks due to a lower-body injury, a devasting blow for a team amid a playoff race. Larkin leads the Red Wings with 54 points (26G / 28A) in 55 games while averaging 3.0 shots per night. J.T. Compher will likely be the center iceman seeing the greatest increase in deployment during Larkin's absence.
