Gibson will make his 28th start of the season when the Ducks travel to Calgary to take on the Flames on Thursday. Gibson excelled in his last start, stopping 23 of the 25 shots he faced in a 6-2 victory over the Bruins back on March 26th. The 31-year-old netminder owns an 11-10-2 record and a .912 SV% on the season. The Ducks enter action on Thursday at +130 on the money line.

Hamonic will slot in for Nick Jensen, who was a late scratch on Thursday. Hamonic has one goal and five assists in 56 games this season.

The Red Wings have likely played themselves out of contention for a wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference. Still, they are clinging to hope and will be desperate for a win, with Talbot tending the twine on Friday against the Carolina Hurricanes. Talbot was seconds away from his third shutout of the season on Tuesday before allowing the game-tying goal and ultimately falling 2-1 to the St. Louis Blues in overtime despite a stellar 35-save performance (.946 SV%). The 37-year-old Talbot has a 2.92 GAA and .902 SV% in 41 appearances this season (18-17-4).

The Red Wings will hand Talbot his 37th start of the season when they travel to St. Louis to take on the Blues on Tuesday. Talbot was excellent in his last start, stopping 20 of the 21 shots he faced in a 2-1 victory over the Bruins on Saturday. The 37-year-old netminder owns an 18-17-3 record and a .900 SV% on the season. Talbot and the Red Wings enter action on Tuesday at +140 on the money line.



The Ducks are coming off a dominant 6-2 win over the Boston Bruins, where Gibson saved 23 of 25 shots (.920 SV%). The 31-year-old Gibson will likely return to the crease on Friday against the New York Rangers, looking to build on his 2.72 GAA and .912 SV% in 28 appearances this season (11-10-2). The Ducks enter Friday's contest as +131 home underdogs against a Rangers club that has lost four of their last five (1-4-0) and is desperately trying to stay within reach of a Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference.

Shine hasn't played since March 14th but will likely re-enter the lineup on Thursday against the Ottawa Senators. The 31-year-old forward has played eight games with the Red Wings this season, scoring one point (0G / 1A) and averaging 8:42 time-on-ice.

Talbot has been battling an undisclosed injury, but will suit up as Alex Lyon's backup on Thursday against the Ottawa Senators. Talbot last played on March 22nd and has a 3.02 GAA and .898 SV% in 38 games this season (17-16-3).

The Ducks are coming off a 5-2 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes and will turn to Gibson between the pipes on Wednesday against the Boston Bruins. The 31-year-old Gibson was excellent in his most recent outing, saving 33 of 34 shots (.971 SV%) in a 4-1 win over the Nashville Predators. He has a 2.75 GAA and .912 SV% in 27 appearances this season (10-10-2). The Ducks enter Wednesday's contest as -126 home favorites against a Bruins club that outscored 30-11 during a six-game losing skid.


Lagesson will slot in on Tuesday as the Red Wings opt to get some fresh legs into their lineup for the tail-end of their back-to-back. Jeff Petry will sit in his place.

Cossa's recall suggests one of Cam Talbot or Alex Lyon will be unavailable for Tuesday's game in Colorado, as Petr Mrazek was already announced out with an undisclosed injury. The 15th-overall pick in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, has performed well at the AHL level this season, registering a 19-11-5 record and a .913 SV%.

With Jeff Petry (undisclosed) returning from a multi-week absence, Lagesson will be a healthy scratch to accommodate his return. The 29-year-old Lagesson has only played three NHL games this season, averaging 14:31 time-on-ice and recording a -2 plus/minus.



Tralmaks is an undrafted 28-year-old Latvia forward that has spent the previous two seasons playing for the Kladno Knights (Czech). He previous spent three seasons with the Providence Bruins in the AHL.

Gustafsson only played 13:34 time-on-ice in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Washington Capitals, was absent from practice on Thursday, and will be sidelined indefinitely due to an undisclosed injury. The 33-year-old Gustafsson is averaging 16:19 time-on-ice, recording 18 points (2G / 16A) and a -19 plus/minus rating in 60 games this season.

Watson is no stranger to the NHL, with 118 points (60G / 58A) and 707 penalty minutes in 517 career games, but he has spent most of the 2024-25 campaign in the AHL. The 33-year-old forward has 37 points (16G / 21A) in 56 games with the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL).
