Egor Zamula has been recalled from Lehigh Valley (AHL).

Zamula is back up with the Flyers where he posted two assists, a +1 plus/minus with four SOG through nine games in his previous stint with Philadelphia earlier in the season. He will be looking to add to his 21 career NHL games played and improve on his -4 plus/minus rating across those games.

Elvis Merzlikins is out Thursday and is considered day-to-day with an undisclosed injury.

Merzlikins left the Blue Jackets previous game halfway through due to an undisclosed injury and will not dress for their contest Thursday vs. Montreal. The 28-year-old was having a rough start to the season, posting a 2-5-0 record with a 4.74 GAA and .864 SV%.

Zach Werenski was placed on the injured reserve retroactive to 11/12.

This is a huge blow for the Blue Jackets, who also lost Nick Blankenburg long-term last week. Jake Bean replaced Werenski on the top power-play after he left the game and figures to be a key figure on their blueline moving forward. Werenski should make a full recovery and be back in time for next year's training camp.
