Byram was on the ice for Tuesday's morning skate but will not play vs. the Ducks. Head coach Jared Bednar said that he will likely play Thursday vs. the Wild. The rookie, who has two assists in 15 games this season, will miss his night straight game tonight.


Timmins has played in four straight games because the Avalanche lineup is banged up, but now he's the latest blueline to join the injury list. Timmins, who has been held pointless in 17 games this season, will be replaced by Greg Pateryn.



Bryson was scratched on Sunday but will be back in the lineup in New York. Bryson has no points but has four shots and a plus-2 rating in his first three career NHL games.




Timmins suited up in five straight games but played just 7:44 TOI on Wednesday. Jacob MacDonald will draw in to replace Timmins.


Zucker took an awkward spill on Tuesday and had to be helped off of the ice. Head coach Mike Sullivan announced that he’ll be out “longer-term” so look for Zach Aston-Reese to move onto Evgeni Malkin’s wing on Thursday.


Dahlin was back on the ice for Sunday's practice and is expected to play Monday vs. the Islanders. Dahlin being activated is huge for the Sabres' blueline, who could be without Jake McCabe, Brandon Montour and Rasmus Ristolainen, who all remain on the list.

Georgiev allowed five goals on 38 shots in the Rangers loss to the Penguins on January 30th. Since opening the season with a shutout, Georgiev has lost three straight while allowing a combined 12 goals on 82 shots (.854 SV%). Tonight he'll face a Bruins team that has won seven of their last eight (7-0-1) while averaging 4.00 goals for and just 2.38 goals against.

Thompson started Saturday's game on the first line with Jack Eichel but was quickly bumped down the lineup. With Thompson coming out, Casey Mittelstadt was promoted from the taxi squad and will draw into the lineup on Sunday.
