Zucker broke his fibula last Sunday in Chicago but finished the game, logging 16:33 TOI but the broken bone was found post-game. Zucker underwent surgery and is expected to be out until early-February and Zach Parise is expected to continue to skate with the top-line moving forward.

It was the third time in four games that Georgiev allowed five-plus goals, pushing his season GAA to 3.42 while his SV% sits at a paltry .903. Today he faces the Devils for the second time this season--he allowed four goals on 37 shots in a 5-2 loss in the first meeting (Oct.17).
Dahlin was elbowed in the head by Erik Cernak on Monday and was forced to leave the game and was immediately diagnosed with a concussion. As expected, the Sabres announced that he is out indefinitely prior to Wednesday's game, so don't expect him to play for at least the rest of this week.
