Acronym	Stat Name	Definition
POS	Position	The player’s on-ice role (e.g., C = Center, LW = Left Wing, D = Defenseman).
GP	Games Played	The total number of games the player has participated in.
G	Goals	The number of goals the player has scored.
A	Assists	The number of times a player helped another player score a goal.
PTS	Points	The sum of goals and assists (PTS = G + A).
+/-	Plus/Minus	A net goal differential when the player is on the ice at even strength or shorthanded.
PIM	Penalty Minutes	The total minutes a player has spent in the penalty box.
SOG	Shots on Goal	The number of shots taken that would have entered the net if not stopped.
S%	Shooting Percentage	The percentage of shots on goal that resulted in a goal (S% = G ÷ SOG × 100).
GWG	Game-Winning Goals	The number of goals that resulted in the team winning the game.
PPG	Power Play Goals	The number of goals scored while the player’s team is on a power play.
SHG	Shorthanded Goals	Goals scored while the player’s team is on the penalty kill.
H	Hits	The number of body checks delivered to opponents.
BLK	Blocks	The number of opponent shots the player has blocked.
FOW	Faceoffs Won	The number of faceoffs the player has successfully won.
FOL	Faceoffs Lost	The number of faceoffs the player has lost.
FO%	Faceoff Win Percentage	The percentage of faceoffs won (FO% = FOW ÷ [FOW + FOL] × 100).
TOI	Average Time on Ice	Average time the player has spent on the ice per game, usually presented in minutes:seconds.
PPTOI	Average Power Play Time on Ice	>Average time the player has spent on the ice per game while the player’s team is on the power play.
