




Zadorov has sat out as a healthy scratch for the last three games, but will return to the lineup tonight in Philadelphia. Zadorov comes into play having scored one goal and one assist in eight games.


Zadorov was a healthy scratch in the Avs’ opening night win in New York, but will draw into the lineup in New Jersey tomorrow. Zadorov, who stands at 6-foot-5, 230 lbs. has great shutdown ability and posted 10 assists in 56 games with Colorado last season. He is expected to replace Andrei Mironov on the back-end.

Zadorov, who was key piece in the Ryan O’Reilly trade to Buffalo, has struggled to find his way in Colorado. The 6-foot-5, 230 lbs. defenseman has the tools to be successful but has yet to put it all together. Still just 22-years-old, Zadorov will sit because the Avalanche claimed Patrik Nemeth off of waivers on Tuesday and he will play with Tyson Barrie.

Zadorov was hurt during Monday’s practice when he got tangled up with forward Mikko Rantanen. Zadorov took some nice strides in his second season in Colorado. He was playing more than he ever has in his young career, averaging over 19 minutes per night and totalled 10 assists in 56 games. Cody Goloubef will replace him in the lineup on Tuesday.

Zadorov reportedly got tangled up with Mikko Rantanen at practice and had to be helped off of the ice with an apparent lower-body injury. Expect and update on Zadorov’s status over the next 24 hours.

Zadorov played just 10:10 on Thursday and will come out of the lineup tonight in Minnesota. The huge defenseman has collected just two assists in 16 games this season and will be replaced by Eric Gelinas tonight.



Zadorov served as a healthy scratch in three of the last four games. He was a minus-3 in just 10:36 on Thursday and and is a minus-5 on the season. Zadorov was a key piece in the Ryan O’Reilly trade, but is viewed as a bit of a project. He has an extremely projectable frame and a nasty side to his game, but he hasn’t fully developed into an everyday NHL defenseman yet. The AHL will allow him more ice time and freedom to grow.

After Zadorov registered two assists and a minus-2 rating in the first 10 games with the Avs, he was scratched on Sunday and will be again tonight. Zadorov has all the tools to become a great NHL defenseman, but he remains a work in progress.


Zadorov was a healthy scratch in the last four games, but will be back in the lineup tonight in Florida. He has 13 points (3G / 10A) in 42 games this season. He will be a good player in this league, but the Sabres clearly think he has some growing up to do.

Zadorov will be a healthy scratch for the fourth straight game because of some disciplinary reasons. He likely would be back in the lineup tonight if Mike Weber wasn’t able to go, but he is in.

Zadorov will be a healthy scratch for the second straight game. Coach Ted Nolan said he won’t play because of “team reasons”. Mark Pysyk is expected to be in the lineup for Zadorov.

Zadorov was suspended for Tuesday’s game for failure to report to the team after the All Star break. Look for him to be back in the lineup tomorrow vs. the Oilers.

Zadorov was in the Dominican Republic during the All Star break. He was unable to return in-time to make practice on Monday, so he has been suspended by the team. He will not play tonight, but is expected to join the team at some point during their road-trip this week.

Zadorov was the 16th overall pick in this year's NHL Entry Draft. He only played in seven games with the Sabres so the first year of his entry level contract will not be in effect this season. He heads back to London where he had six goals and 25 points in 63 games last season.
