Eyssimont left Game 1 after just 5:13 TOI due to an undisclosed injury and will be out Thursday for Game 2. The 26-year-old had five goals, 10 assists, 124 SOG, 73 PIMs and a +3 plus/minus through 54 games between Winnipeg, San Jose, and Winnipeg during the regular season.
Eyssimont will make his San Jose debut Tuesday after getting claimed off waivers from Winnipeg last week. The 26-year-old had a goal, four assists and a +5 plus/minus through 19 games with the Jets prior to being waived and scooped up by the Sharks.
Eyssimont has a goal, four assists, 23 SOG and is a +7 plus/minus through 16 games played and will find himself back in the Jets' lineup after it was announced Cole Perfetti would miss Friday's game (undisclosed).
The 26-year-old has been enjoying a strong start to his AHL campaign prior to his promotion with nine points (2G/7A) in nine games along with 27 PIMs and a +8 plus/minus rating. He has played in one NHL game previously in his career when he got a call-up in 2021-22 and had one SOG.
