Reimer is a better goalie than he’s shown so far this season, but the Panthers have some depth issues and they will be tested tonight with Aleksander Barkov out.

It was a completely different outcome than his start in Washington three days prior, but with Roberto Luongo out, they’ll go right back to Reimer tonight vs. the Ducks. Anaheim enters play averaging 3.00 goals for per game so far.
Reimer stopped 41 of 42 shots in the Panthers’ win over the Capitals on Saturday. It was an excellent outing for Reimer, who is now the Panthers’ No.1 netminder with Roberto Luongo (thumb) on IR. He has stopped 52 of the last 54 shots that he has faced and tonight he takes on a Montreal team that is dead last in scoring (1.50 GF/PG) right now.
