Schwartz is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

Schwartz has been out since November 16th and remains day-to-day with an upper-body injury. Schwartz was recently joined by Alex Steen and Robby Fabbri as injured Blues forwards, so Jordan Nolan and Jordan Kyrou were called up from San Antonio (AHL).

Schwartz (lower-body) was a full participant in Tuesday’s practice; likely to play on Wednesday.

Schwartz missed the Blues last two games with a lower-body injury, but was back on the ice for Tuesday’s practice. Schwartz skated in his regular spot on the Blues’ second line and power-play, suggesting that he will play on Wednesday. Schwartz has registered two assists and seven shots on goal in three games this season.

Schwartz (ankle) won’t play Tuesday but is a possibility to play on Thursday.

Schwartz, who has been sidelined since December 9th, has been medically cleared to return and it looks like he’ll be back on Thursday. The Blues have gone 8-10-1 while averaging just 2.16 goals per game since Schwartz was sidelined.

Schwartz (illness) is expected to play in the Winter Classic.

Schwartz missed Sunday's practice with an illness, but is expected to play in the Winter Classic vs. the Blackhawks. Schwartz is expected to skate on a line with Jori Lehtera and Vladimir Tarasenko and comes in with 12 goals and nine assists (21 points) in 33 games.

Schwartz (elbow) returned to the ice on Friday.

Schwartz, who hyperextended his left elbow in practice back on September 29th, was originally expected to be re-evaluated in four weeks (end of October), skated today for the first time since suffering the injury. However, Schwartz remains on his original timetable, but it is still encouraging to see that he is making progress.

The Blues signed Jaden Schwartz to a five-year deal wirth $26.75 million ($5.35M AAV) on July 15th.

Schwartz, 24, missed 49 games in 2015-16 after fracturing his ankle in October, but still finished with 22 points (8G / 14A) in 33 games. The injury was frustrating for his fantasy investors, who were expecting another 25-goal, 60-point season out of him. Schwartz comes into 2016-17 with that kind of potential and should be drafted as a 60-point player with the potential for 30 goals.
