Talbot has had a steady start to the season, opening the year at 2-0 while stopping 61 of the 67 shots (.910 SV%) that he’s faced. On Monday he has a strong chance to move to 3-0 against an Anaheim team that is searching for offence early in the season.

He's a vastly under appreciated netminder and should have a solid season behind a Wild team that is one of the stiffest defensive teams in the NHL.

It was a terrific outing for Talbot, who will start for the second straight game tonight vs. the Blue Jackets. He is 5-6-1 with a 3.17 GAA and .900 SV% on home ice this season and Columbus has gone 0-2-3 while scoring 2.80 goals per game in their last five road games.
