Jenner missed Thursday's practice due to illness but is expected to play vs. the Avalanche on Friday. Jenner, who has one goal and three assists in 10 games, is expected to centre the top line with Johnny Gaudreau and Patrik Laine.
Jenner has been out since March 11th with a back injury and will miss the final week of the regular season. Jenner finishes the season with 23 goals and 21 assists (44 points) in 59 games this season.
The Blue Jackets are in Buffalo on Monday and they'll be without Jenner, Jack Roslovic and Gabriel Carlsson, who entered protocol on Sunday.
Jenner is expected to miss six weeks after breaking his finger on Tuesday. With Jenner out on Thursday, Eric Robinson is expected to get a look in the Blue Jackets' top-6.

Jenner will not play Saturday in Chicago due to an undisclosed injury, so look for Kole Sherwood to make his NHL debut in his place.
Jenner has missed the last three games but was on the ice for Monday’s practice and will be a game-time decision in Colorado. Jenner is expected to skate on the third line with Josh Anderson and Anthony Duclair if he plays.
Jenner is day-to-day with an undisclosed injury and will be replaced by Markus Hannikainen vs. the Sabres. Look for Alexander Wennberg to replace Jenner on the second line with Nick Foligno and Josh Anderson.

Jenner will miss at least the next two games, but could return on Saturday in Calgary.
Jenner has been out since December 18th, but he took part in the Blue Jackets practice this morning, including line rushes, which is a great sign he is nearing a return. He will travel with the team to Western Canada and should return to the lineup at some point during the trip.
