Fantasy Hockey 2025-26: Weekly Strength of Schedule and Streaming Targets — Week 13

Finding an edge in fantasy hockey often comes down to maximizing your man games — and targeting players with favourable matchups. Our Fantasy Hockey Strength of Schedule tool helps you do precisely that.
Each week, we evaluate every NHL team’s upcoming slate using three key factors:
- Games Played: More games mean more opportunities for fantasy points.
- Strength of Schedule (SOS): Based on opponent difficulty, the higher the score, the easier the matchups.
- Light Nights: Nights with eight or fewer NHL games, when it’s easier to fit extra players into your active lineup.
By combining these three components, the tool highlights which teams — and streamers — are best positioned for fantasy success this week.
If you’re looking for a full breakdown of every team’s upcoming schedule, check out our Fantasy Hockey Strength of Schedule Tool — updated daily to show which teams have the most games and valuable light-night matchups each week.
Week 13 Strength of Schedule

Week 13 Streaming Targets
Carolina Hurricanes
Carolina is the only team on the schedule with five games, and three land on Light Nights. All three Light Night matchups (@ PIT, vs. MTL, @ NJD) are stream-friendly, making the Hurricanes the clear priority this week.
Primary Option – Jackson Blake (RW – 11% Rostered)
Blake has stepped into a larger role since the Seth Jarvis injury and has two goals in three games since the promotion. Looking at a wider sample, he’s posted eight points (5G / 3A) in his last 11 games while averaging 4.3 shot attempts per night. He’s currently locked into the top-6, PP1, and is playing 19+ minutes per game—-that combination should make him rostered everywhere. With a strong schedule ahead, Blake is one of my favourite overall streaming targets this week.
Secondary Option – Logan Stankoven (C/RW – 21% Rostered)
Stankoven held onto his second-line spot initially but has since been elevated into Jarvis’ role, skating alongside Sebastian Aho and Andrei Svechnikov at 5v5. He’s been quiet recently (five points in 11 games), but with Carolina playing five times this week, he could outproduce Blake simply through volume if you can fit a center into your lineup on the busier nights. If you need games-played above all else, Stankoven may actually be the priority.
Pittsburgh Penguins
Pittsburgh has some of the best individual streaming targets available, but Light Night matchups aren’t ideal. They open vs. CAR on Tuesday, host DET on Thursday, and finish strong with a great matchup @ CBJ to close the week.
Primary Option – Anthony Mantha (LW/RW – 14% Rostered)
Mantha stayed hot with a goal and assist in the Penguins’ 7–3 win over Chicago, bringing him to 11 points (4G / 7A) in 13 December games. His ice-time dipped slightly in the last two, but that seems more tied to score effects than a role change—he remains locked into the middle-six and, most importantly, PP1. Four of his 11 December points have come on the man advantage, and his volume remains solid, averaging 2.2 SOG and 4.6 shot attempts per game. He’s the clear top streaming option in Pittsburgh.
Secondary Options
Justin Brazeau (RW – 9% Rostered)
It’s tough to overlook Brazeau after his hat-trick Sunday, but outside of that explosion, his post-injury production has been muted—just six points (5G / 1A) in 11 games since returning in early December. Still, he has flashed upside (five multi-point outings on the year) and adds 2.0 hits per game in December, which gives him value as a banger-format streamer, even if you shouldn’t expect last night’s ceiling often.
Ben Kindel (C – 3% Rostered)
Kindel snapped a five-game drought with an assist Sunday, but he’s hard to endorse while off PP1. Eight of his 15 points this season have come on the power play, and his 5v5 production hasn’t been consistent enough to make up for the loss in usage. Only stream him in the deepest formats if you’re desperate for a center.
Thomas Novak (C/LW – 1% Rostered)
Novak has quietly woken up with nine points (4G / 5A) in his last 13 games, and unlike Kindel, most of it has come at 5v5, which makes him a bit more reliable if you’re digging deep. That said, in most leagues, there are simply stronger options available on other teams—he’s a deep-league only consideration.
Florida Panthers
Florida plays four times, and with just 11 games on Monday, you may be able to fit one of their streamers in for all four. Even if not, their Light Night slate is solid: vs. MTL, vs. NYR, vs. COL — enough scheduling upside to make them worth targeting.
Primary Option – Anton Lundell (C – 47% Rostered)
Lundell has cooled slightly with just one point across his last four games, but he still has 10 points (6G / 4A) in his last 14. His peripherals offer a reliable floor (2.6 SOG and 1.4 hits per game), and strong 5v5 underlying numbers suggest more production is coming. He’s rostered in 47% of leagues, so availability will be limited, but he remains a top-tier stream where available, recording at least one point in 23 of 37 games (62.2%) this season.
Secondary Options
Mackie Samoskevich (RW – 5% Rostered)
Samoskevich continues to be a premium banger-league stream. Over his last nine games, he’s tallied six points (1G / 5A) while averaging 2.6 SOG, 4.0 shot attempts, and 2.4 hits per game. He brings a great category floor and enough offence to make the stream worthwhile.
Eetu Luostarinen (LW – 2% Rostered)
Luostarinen offers a similar profile to Samoskevich, though with steadier usage and more consistent production. His volume is lighter (1.5 SOG/gm, but 2.3 hits/gm), yet he has delivered 16 points (4G, 12A) in his last 22, good for a 50-point pace. He’s widely available and makes a great banger-league stream.
Montreal Canadiens
Montreal also has three Light Night games, but the matchups are brutal — @ FLA, @ CAR, @ DAL. They’re on a tough road swing, making Habs streamers more volume-dependent than matchup-dependent this week.
Primary Option – Zack Bolduc (LW/RW – 15% Rostered)
Bolduc has held a prime opportunity on the top line with Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield, but the production hasn’t fully followed — just five points (4G, 1A) in 14 December games. That said, there are signs of life: all four goals came in his last eight games, and during that stretch, he’s averaged 2.0 SOG, 3.5 shot attempts, 2.8 hits, and 16:35 TOI per night. The role and usage remain elite for a streamer, and with strong underlying metrics, Bolduc profiles as a solid floor, high-upside option who could finally convert opportunity into results this week.
