Rod Brind'Amour announced Saturday that he was hopeful the Hurricanes would have defensemen Jalen Chatfield back for the start of their upcoming Eastern Conference Final. Toronto was unable to provide an injury update on the extent of Matthew Knies' injury after he left Game 6 with an undisclosed injury. It did not look great for the 22-year-old winger, who has five goals and seven points in 12 playoff games this year. Head Coach Craig Berube is expected to provide an update on his status for Game 7 on Saturday afternoon.

Ekholm has yet to appear in the playoffs after suffering an undisclosed injury on April 11th and is expected to remain out of the Oilers' lineup for Games 1 and 2 of the Western Conference Final, but is hopeful to return for Game 3. The 34-year-old will be welcomed back with open arms as he is a defensive stalwart on Edmonton's back end, averaging 22:12 TOI during the regular season.

Pickard is undefeated in the playoffs through 7 games played but has not played since Game 3 vs. Vegas due to an undisclosed injury. Stolarz (concussion) has practiced on his own the past several days but has not yet taken part in a full team practice. He is unlikely to be ready for Game 6 on Friday against the Florida Panthers.

Stone was absent from the morning skate and despite head coach Bruce Cassidy calling him a game-time decision, there are reports that he won't play in Game 5. Look for Victor Olofsson to move up to the Jack Eichel line and for Nicolas Roy to move up to the second-line in Stone's absence.

Rodrigues suffered an undisclosed injury in Game 4 and will not play in Game 5 against the Maple Leafs. Jesper Boqvist will return to the Panthers' lineup to replace Rodrigues on the top line with Aleksander Barkov and Sam Reinhart.

Stone left Game 3 with an upper-body injury but was on the ice for Monday's morning skate and will be a game-time decision for Game 4. Based on the morning skate, it looks very likely that Stone will play, as he skated on the top line and top power-play unit.

Stecher missed the final two games of the regular season with an undisclosed injury and Monday would be his 2025 playoffs debut. He's expected to replace Ty Emberson on the Oilers' blueline.

Stone left Game 3 after just six shifts and 5:54 TOI due to an undisclosed injury but is hopeful to return for Game 4 on Monday after announcing his diagnosis is day-to-day. The 32-year-old Golden Knights' captain will make a massive loss if he is forced to miss any time after picking up four goals and eight points in his first nine playoff games.

NHL Injury Report FAQs
The NHL injury report is updated daily so that you can see the latest injury news ahead of puck drop in any of today’s matchups. Seeing timely updates to the NHL injury report can make a major impact on your daily fantasy sports picks and wagers on a particular game. All information provided on the NHL injury report is provided directly by the NHL and each respective franchise to ensure accuracy.
While the minimum amount of time spent on the injured reserve list is seven calendar days, there is no maximum amount of time that a player can be placed on the injured reserve list. If a player is set to be sidelined for longer than 24 calendar days or 10 NHL games, then a club may opt to place them on the long-term injured reserve instead. This allows franchises with the ability to exceed the salary cap while a player is placed on this reserve list.
No injury recovery timeline is the same as another as there are several factors that go into the rehab process for a player being affected by injury. Factors include but are not limited to, injury severity, player injury/medical history, age, as well as the location of the injury. Some injuries are able to clear up in a matter of days, while others may take an athlete out of action for the entirety of a season.
