Ekman-Larsson (personal) will play against the Islanders on Tuesday.

Ekman-Larsson did not play on Sunday and was not at Toronto's morning skate on Tuesday following the birth of his child. The 34-year-old Swedish defenseman is having a resurgent season, with 35 points (8G / 27A) in 65 games. This marks the most points he has had in a season since 2018-19, when he scored 44 points (14G / 30A) in 81 games as a member of the Arizona Coyotes.

Oliver Ekman-Larsson
Gudbranson (upper-body) will return to the Blue Jackets lineup for Tuesday's game against the Hurricanes.

Gudbranson has been sidelined for a week due to an upper-body injury, but will return on Tuesday against the Carolina Hurricanes. The 34-year-old defenseman is averaging 17:51 time-on-ice and has three points (1G / 2A) in 21 games this season.

Erik Gudbranson
Woll will start against the Islanders on Tuesday.

Woll had the night off in Toronto's previous game after starting three straight, but he will return to the crease on Tuesday against the New York Islanders. Despite losing two of his last three (1-1-1), Woll has been excellent lately, posting a 2.63 GAA and .924 SV%, a vast improvement over the ugly 5.13 GAA and .849 SV% he had in his first three games back from the Olympic break (0-3-0). The Maple Leafs enter Tuesday's contest as +123 home underdogs against an Islanders team that has lost three of its last six games (3-3-0).

Joseph Woll
The Maple Leafs signed Borgesi to a two-year contract on Tuesday, set to begin in the 2026-27 season.

Borgesi is a 22-year-old defenceman who recently completed his NCAA career and will sign with the Maple Leafs as a free agent. He tallied 16 goals and 64 assists in 134 games across four seasons at Northeastern University. Borgesi will join the AHL's Toronto Marlies on an amateur tryout for the remainder of the 2025-26 season before his contract officially kicks in at the start of the new league season.

Vincent Borgesi
Bussi will start in Columbus on Tuesday.

Not to take away from a tremendous rookie season for the 27-year-old Bussi, but he has fallen off from a tremendous start to his NHL career. After posting a 2.16 GAA and .906 SV% in 27 games before the Olympic break (23-3-1), Bussi has returned with an ugly 3.81 GA and .835 SV% in four games since (2-2-0) and is riding a two-game losing streak for the first time in his young career. Still, the Hurricanes enter Tuesday's contest as -131 road favourites against a Columbus Blue Jackets team with points in nine straight games (5-0-4).

Brandon Bussi
Svechnikov (undisclosed) will play vs. Columbus on Tuesday after missing practice on Monday.

Svechnikov was absent from practice on Monday, but will be ready for Tuesday's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The 25-year-old Svechnikov has seven points (3G / 4A) in his last six games, giving him 58 points (24G / 34A) through 66 games this season.

Andrei Svechnikov
Philadelphia has signed Cole Knuble to a two-year, entry-level contract starting in 2026-27.

Knuble was a fourth-round pick of the Flyers in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft and has been rewarded with a two-year, entry-level contract after completing a third season of collegiate hockey. The 21-year-old forward scored 31 points (9G / 22A) in 36 games with Notre Dame (Big-10).

Cole Knuble
Mikkola will be a healthy scratch vs. Vancouver on Tuesday.

With Seth Jones (upper body) returning from a prolonged absence, Mikkola will exit the lineup as a healthy scratch. The 29-year-old Mikkola has played every game for Florida this season, averaging 20:22 time-on-ice and scoring 11 points (3G / 8A) in 66 games.

Niko Mikkola
Luostarinen (maintenance) is out vs. Vancouver on Tuesday.

The Panthers have been dealing with a myriad of injuries, regularly rotating players in and out of the lineup for maintenance purposes. Luostarinen will exit the lineup on Tuesday, with Nolan Foote making his team debut as his replacement. The 27-year-old Luostarinen has 25 points (8G / 17A) in 25 games this season.
